  • How does payroll outsourcing benefit me?

  • How much does payroll outsourcing cost?

    This is dependent on your requirements. We have a “user pays” costing methodology so you don’t pay for the services you don’t require. If you currently have a full time in-house payroll consultant/s, we can assure you your payroll costs will be significantly less.
  • What do I get with payroll outsourcing?

  • How long does it take to setup?

    The answer to this depends on the number of employees you have, your pay cycles and the current state of your payroll department. On average, it would take approximately 4-6 weeks depending on the complexity of the payroll. There have been instances where a payroll solution was fully operational within 2 weeks of getting sign-off from a client. Depending on your situation, we will work with you to provide a solution based on your requirements and appreciate that things may be urgent.
  • Will I have a dedicated payroll consultant?

    Absolutely. You will have a dedicated payroll consultant that will always be your first point of call. This experienced payroll consultant is supported by a team of people who will also be familiar with your payroll should your own consultant not be available.
  • Can employees apply for leave online?

    We offer a hosted system that is accessible anywhere around the world. Should you require, we can offer a self-service kiosk for both staff and managers.
  • Can I only outsource my payroll?

    We provide a customised solution based on your requirements. Should you wish, we can look after your entire payroll or only certain elements. You are the client and we cater for your specific requirements.
  • My business runs nationally and within NZ. Can you help?

    Yes. We have a number of clients like you. We are familiar with the statutory obligations for all states and if you have an entity in New Zealand, we can look after that also.
  • What if my business needs complex reporting?

    A number of our clients maintained old-fashioned, archaic spreadsheets to capture all their costing allocations before outsourcing their payroll to i3Group. We have built specialist reports that are automatically extracted from the payroll system – eliminating the need to rehash data that has already been input.
  • Can reports be distributed to different people at different times?

    In addition to the 200 standard reports that you will have access to, we can write sophisticated customised reports that are colourful and graphical. Should you wish, these reports can be automatically scheduled to be distributed to certain managers at certain times. Imagine all the time you can save!
  • Can I outsource my payroll for a small workforce?

    The beauty of our solution is the smallest of clients can also reap the benefits of outsourcing. You will have access to a cost effective solution that is not solely dedicated to large organisations. One of our original clients has a total of 5 employees. They’ve been with us since inception!
  • Can you assure me of service confidentiality?

    This is a common concern for most organisations and we understand the confidentiality of outsourcing your payroll. We will work with you to ensure you are not compromised in any way.
  • Do your provide technical advice?

    At i3Group, we are experienced payroll professionals, not data entry clerks. Our extensive industry experience, compulsory staff training and a large client base ensures there is no payroll problem we haven’t encountered and no payroll question we can’t answer.
